Hello, My name is Tyrell Jones; husband of Joanna Jones; aka The Nanna of Nanna’s bread, and I’m going to take this opportunity to speak candid about the story of Nanna’s Cafe and Bread company. This all started because we were seriously tired of the store options. Options that during and after covid started to shrink, options that had gaping holes in the centers of the bread. Options coming from overseas and tasting like cardboard.
One day I was like, “Babe I know you can make better bread than this store stuff.” And it was one of those Challenge Accepted moments. Once it came out perfect she started getting requests, then one request led to another. Soon the Diamond E Collective found us wanting to sell our bread at the back 40 farmers Market within the collective. Then breadroot became interested which is still crazy to us. A few weeks later we have a full blown cafe out of nowhere. But i always knew the food quality and taste wouldn’t be the hard part.
It’s one thing to have a dream of running a GFDF cafe its another for it to actually happen and we are so appreciative our our loyal fans and customers. This cafe is for you. A dream so early its been crazy trying to keep up and not disappoint her fans, but these terrible options have sullied the name of Gluten and Dairy free for far too long.
GFDF bread can be delicious whether you have the allergy restriction or not Nanna’s bread taste good. It’s nothing like you’ve had before or something that can be expected. Nanna’s cafe and bread company is here for the GFDF Community that the whole family can enjoy together without compromising on taste and quality. We are here to make sure everyone can Enjoy your food together and well continue to showcase how good Gluten and Dairy free breads, foods and pastries can taste.
